Progress is continuing on the 1/5 RWD project.

3d printing is underway and first prototype parts are hitting revision point.

Lower arm and steering wipers worked well for sizing checks and determining positioning.

But I ran into issues where specific threads and ball end kits used in the CARSON CY-Eline will make it hard to get parts from common manufacturers.

Still learning a lot about materials.
Carson kind of chose their own combinations of threads and screws. M3 M4 and M5 ball ends with M3 and M4 screws don't match.
Just a small rethink and re-engineer for standard traxxas sizes. If M3 and 6.8 ball is good enough for 1/8 thrashing jumping machines, then the low loading on drift spec parts will be fine
more droop from re-positioned shock mounts.

Wheel test and tyre test

As I get better with software and material expect the prototypes to get better.
